BOOT CAMPS IN MY ARLINGTON GYM

If you're looking for a drill sargent of a personal trainer, this  is not it.  If no amount of rain or snow will stop you from training outside, this is not it.  If you want to train hard & have fun with a small group, you've come to the right place. You're going use the best equipment. You're going to do great workouts. Not only will every workout be different, every workout will meet all of your fitness needs. BURKE BOOT CAMPS

In 2009 we started training 3 days a week in one of our founding member's garage.  We upgraded to an elementary school. Fast forward to 2019.  We've shared over 1300 workouts together.  What a group & what a ride!  A second group has been making it's own history as well.  There is something special about getting together early in the morning & training with such wonderful people.  Come join us!

Thanks for visiting my web site.  First & foremost I'm a family man.  I'm beyond thankful to have such a kindhearted wife & a vivacious teenage daughter.  I'm one of the dozen  or so people who grew up in the greater Washington, DC area.  Fitness has always been a cornerstone of my life.  Before I became an ACE certified full time personal trainer in 2009, I taught (mostly elementary school) for 13 years.  I'm grateful to call Arlington home.  I love sharing my passion for health & fitness with my clients.  I love training in my gym with all the latest & greatest fitness tools.

I very much recommend Michael FitLife for anyone looking to have fun, improve core strength and stay healthy. I turned to Michael as part of rehab for a knee injury and back pain and in the past 3 years, he's helped me recover from both, lose 7 lbs and turn in the best 10 mile and 5K race times I've had in a decade.  His coaching style and interesting workouts motivate me every week.  You will be challenged. Rates are competitive and he's very accommodating/flexible on schedules.  He has even provided me with personalized "do it yourself at home" workouts for in-between sessions that don't require a lot of space or equipment.  I like that.  Note:  his gym is not air conditioned, but open to outside so you workout in a more natural climate--can be warmer or colder than an indoor gym.   Eric T.

I started attending the Burkee Camp as a New Year's Resolution several years ago and can't imagine a week without it now!  Michael comes prepared with equipment, music and a workout plan.  All we have to do is show up and sweat!  It's a great way to start my Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays!
